Perris Elementary School District
SafeworkCM assisted PESD the District’s first Transitional Kindergarten Program Center as a hub for the neighboring community through custom themed classroom spaces (Aerospace, Construction, Agricultural, Nature, City, Arctic, Sahara, etc.).
Los Angeles Community College District
SafeworkCM’s relationship with LACCD began in 2008 when we provided safety oversight and auditing services at Los Angeles Mission College, Pierce College, and Valley College campuses until 2012. From 2018-2023, we served all nine campuses of the District by providing labor compliance and project labor agreement services. We also provided construction management services for two projects at Los Angeles Valley College – Academic Complex 1, a new 80,000-square-foot building that will have 24 classrooms, 6 computer labs, 4 flex classrooms, a skills/testing classroom, a large lecture classroom, and an administration suite and Academic Building 2, a 59,091-square-foot facility that will house the Technology, Speech, English, ESL, and Foreign Language Departments. Both projects are currently in construction. In 2022, SafeworkCM was selected as the College Project Leadership Team for Pierce College, where we are providing program and construction management services for its $950M capital improvement bond program.
Chaffey Community College District
SafeworkCM is providing program and construction management services to Chaffey Community College District (CCD) for the $700 million Measure P Bond Program since 2020. Chaffey CCD serves 750,000 students and operates three campuses. Our services included design-build criteria AE services, construction management, estimating and master planning for the program, which includes new construction and renovation projects of the new Ontario campus, new campus center at Fontana campus, new facilities at Rancho Cucamonga, Chino and Fontana Campuses. New 75,300-square-foot Library/Learning Commons. Our team provides project budget management, project scheduling, scope validation and planning, monthly progress reporting, development of QA/QC plans, constructability reviews, design and contractor procurement, review/approval of invoicing, management of purchase orders, and coordination/oversight of the design team. Improving training facilities for nurses and emergency first responders, upgrading student safety and security systems, and repairing gas/electrical/sewer lines and leaky roofs, and removing asbestos, lead paint, and mold. And upgrading classrooms, labs, and job training facilities (for manufacturing, skilled trades, and health occupations).
Newport-Mesa Unified School District
SafeworkCM is providing CM Services for the new $39M Estancia High School Performing Arts Complex (Theater) Project. The project includes a 46,000-square-foot complex with a 350-seat theater and lobby, a black-box theater and new concession, storage, and backstage areas. Outdoor work would include creation of a courtyard plaza, reconfiguration of a bus area and perimeter fencing. The existing theater would remain intact and be repurposed as a lecture hall.
San Bernardino Community College District
Measure M Bond Construction Program | Building and site renovations and new construction for the SBCCD’s two campuses. The team provided design development, user group coordination, budget development, bid procurement strategy, construction and DSA certification. Team members served as the SBCCD’s liaison regarding Board policy. The program included campus-wide parking lot upgrades, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) upgrades, a solar farm and signage upgrades.
Measure CC Bond Construction Program | SafeworkCM is providing program and construction management services to San Bernardino Community College (SBCCD) for the $500 million Measure CC Bond Program at San Bernardino Valley College. Our team is well versed in management of higher education projects that utilize various delivery methods including Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects.
